The coronavirus continues to kill in Iran. According to the statement made by the officials of the Iranian Ministry of Health last night, the number of deaths was 92 and the number of cases detected 2922.

Kiyanuş Cihanpur, the head of the Communication and Public Relations Unit of the Iranian Ministry of Health, announced at the daily press conference that 15 people died from the coronavirus in the last 24 hours.

Friday prayer suspended and parliament closed

Iran closed schools and government institutions due to the epidemic. After the infections was confirmed in some parliamentarians and a deputy died, the parliament was closed indefinitely. The authorities also took the decision to suspend Friday prayers in an attempt to contain the spreading of the epidemic.
