It has been reported that Iran Ministry of Culture will found a Kurdish news agency and a daily newspaper. The centre of the news agency was reported as Sine city of East Kurdistan.

At the press festival in Sine, Iran Ministry of Culture Press Manager explained that a Kurdish news agency and a daily newspaper will be founded in Iran.

Journalist and writer Necdeti Rehimi spoke to PUKmedia as follows; “ At his statement in the frame of the press festival in Sine, General Press Manager of Iran Ministry of Culture Qazi Zade gave the good news of a news agency and a daily newspaper in Kurdish language. In as far as Qazi Zade’s statement, the central office of the Kurdish news agency and the daily newspaper will be in Sine.”

Rehimi remarked that the agency and the newspaper will be making news from Iran and all four sides of Kurdistan, adding that the name of the agency will be “Kurd Press” , while the name of the newspaper isn’t determined yet.

No information has been obtained about the starting date of the agency and the newspaper.
