The government of Turkey continues its efforts to cover up the deadly incident in Suruç district of Urfa.

A delegation made up of representatives of Amed (Diyarbakır) Bar Association, Human Rights Association (IHD) and Diyarbakır Chamber of Industry and Trade was denied access to Suruç where an armed attack by AKP men claimed the life of 3 civilians on June 14, Thursday.

The delegation, seeking to make an observation in the town following the armed attack, was called by Urfa Security Directorate and warned that they would not be allowed into the district on grounds of “safety of life”.
