One woman wounded in Ceylanpınar
30-year-old woman, Hiznegül Turan, was wounded in Urfa's Ceylanpınar district from bullets being shot by radical Islamist al-Nusra's militants from Serêkaniyê (Rasalyn, Kurdish city in Syria).
The city of Serêkaniyê has been the scene of heavy clashes recently as armed groups attacked YPG (People's Defense Units) and civilians.
The woman was reportedly hit by a bullet on the head while standing on the balcony of her house in Mehmet Akif Ersoy neighborhood. She was rushed to Ceylanpınar State Hospital before being transferred to Urfa State Hospital.
Four people in the district have been killed and dozens of others wounded by bullets and mortars fired from Serêkaniyê since last month.
