Peace Council of Turkey to Roboski on World Peace Day

A delegation of Peace Council of Turkey will be in the village of Roboski on September 1, International Day of Peace, to share the pains of Roboski families and to support their fight for justice.

Following a meeting with Roboski families on 31 August, the delegation will on September 1 visit the graveyard of 34 people who were massacred by Turkish warplanes on 28 December 2011 in Şırnak's Uludere district.

A delegation of the Peace Council was in Roboski on World Peace Day last year as well. The delegation demanded the disclosure of those responsible for the massacre and voiced demands for a democratic solution to the Kurdish problem.
