PKK issued a statement on Suruç massacre and said that the AKP government, supporting ISIS gangs in Kobanê massacre, was no longer merely a collaborator and carried out the massacre in Pirsus (Suruç). PKK stated that AKP showed its fascist side, and enmity to the values of Democratic Nation established with the leadership of Kurdish people, with Pirsus massacre where 31 socialist youth died and 104 people got injured. PKK condemned the brutal attack and offered condolences to the families and comrades of the massacred youth.

'AKP CARRIED OUT THE MASSACRE, ISIS IS A COVER’

PKK Executive Committee emphasized that AKP carried out the massacre and used ISIS as a cover, and was now terrified because the public is aware of AKP’s role in Pirsus. PKK described AKP officials’ condemnation statements as attempts to curb the social anger at AKP’s role in the attack, and said that the massacre in Pirsus showed once again nation states’ enmity towards societies.

PKK stated that the massacre of socialist youth, who had seen their free future in Kurdistan revolution, with the mask of fascist, reactionary and misogynist ISIS gangs was an attack on all peoples from different ethnicities and religions. 

'FIRE OF ROJAVA REVOLUTION WARMS THE ENTIRE WORLD'

In its statement, PKK Executive Committee said that the fire of Rojava Revolution embraced all revolutionaries and warmed the entire world. Emphasizing the role of internationalist revolutionaries in the globalization of Rojava Revolution, PKK called upon all peoples and revolutionaries to further this process and resist the monolithic world-view of AKP mentality. PKK also called upon peoples to organize their self-defense with the awareness that all nation-states are massacre mechanisms targeting societies.

PKK noted that the AKP government heightened its cultural genocide of Kurdish people with its declaration of war targeting all peoples, youth, women and democratic forces in Turkey. PKK argued that public security has been a keyword for AKP’s fascist attacks and said that such attacks would never reach their goal of ruling over the freedom struggle of revolutionary forces.

PKK strongly condemned the fascist attack in Pirsus targeting revolutionary youth, and promised to bring the perpetrators of the massacre to account and strengthen the notion of Democratic Nation. PKK called upon all revolutionary forces to unite, transform pain into anger, organize self-defense forces, and fight for victory against fascist AKP and its mask ISIS.
