State security forces once again attacked demonstrators in Yüksekova.

Protests have started again in Yüksekova against the violence perpetrated on the bodies of the dead guerrillas, who lost their lives in the attacks in Pervari/Siirt and  Beyyurdu (Bêdav) village of Þemdinli. The bodies have still not been given to their families.

Young demonstrators closed the Þemdinli way to traffic in the province where shopkeepers closed up their shops by early hours in the morning. The assault by policemen and plainclothes policeman, panzer and TOMA (pressure water armed vehicle) on young demonstrators was responded to with stones. Clashes are continuing on Þemdinli way and Cumhuriyet District.
