Four people were taken into custody during police raids on many houses in Izmir early this morning.

It was learned that Tevgera Jinên Azad (TJA) activist Emine Inan, Anatolian Assistance and Solidarity Association with Those Who Lost Their Relatives (ANYAKAYDER) co-chairs Rahime Turan and Mikail Atan, and the association executive Zarife Sungur were taken into custody during the raids.

While no information was obtained about the reason for the detentions, the four people were taken to Izmir Provincial Police Department in Çankaya after health checks.
