In Izmir, several houses were raided by the Turkish police earlier this morning. After the house searches, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) Central Executive Board (MYK) member Emin Orhan, Impact News Agency (ETHA) Izmir Correspondent Ertürk Yılmaz and Socialist Youth Associations Federation (SGDF) members Meryem Yıldırım, Gül Özdoğan, Nazlı Yiyonler, Didar Gül and Ferhat Pehlivan was taken into custody.

The detainees were taken to Izmir Police Department.
