Thousands of people took to the streets of Ceylanpınar today to rally for Rojava. Organized by DTK and BDP, the rally was joined by people from outside the border city as well.

A convoy reached the city from Mardin (Mêrdîn) and Kızıltepe.

The rally was joined by BDP co-chair Gültan Kışanak and BDP deputies Pervin Buldan and İdris Baluken, as well as other BDP deputies, representatives of Mother for Peace Initiative and other organizations. People chanted slogan supporting the YPG (People's Defense Units) and PKK. Banners and slogans compared Rojava to Palestine, and called the revolution in Rojava the people's revolution. Poster of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan were opened along the route of the march.

The rally ended in Üç Fidan Park, under heavy guards by police armoured vehicles.
