Relatives of AKP MP candidate welcome the PM with arms

Relatives of AKP Urfa MP candidate İbrahim Halil Yıldız, who are responsible for the massacre perpetrated in Suruç on Thursday, welcomed Turkish Prime Minister with arms.

Dozens of armed men accompanied Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım as he arrived in Suruç district of Urfa today following Thursday’s armed attack against shopkeepers who made clear they will not vote for AKP during the AKP MP candidate’s visit. The presence of armed men around the PM reveals how and with what goal the Suruç attack took place.

The armed men are apparently neither police nor bodyguards but reportedly relatives of AKP MP candidate Yıldız.

10 days before the presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey and North Kurdistan, armed men of AKP MP Candidate İbrahim Halil Yıldız attacked shopkeepers in Suruç. 5 people including shopkeeper Hacı Esvet Şenyaşar and two of his sons lost their life as a result of the attack.

In the wake of the attack, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım has gone to Suruç on Saturday. Images from the town during Yıldırım’s visit constitute an evidence of the terror of AKP supporters.

Mehmet Orhan Yıldız, nephew of AKP MP candidate Halil İbrahim Yıldız, shared a video on Whatsapp, saying “We are in the battlefield”. The video shows armed men welcoming the Prime Minister in Suruç. The armed men are reported to be relatives of AKP MP candidate and they are touring the streets with Kalashnikov rifles in their hands.

The video footage reveals who actually carried out the attack which Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan and the media under his control reported as “attack against AKP supporters”.
