Revenge Units claim responsibility for attacks in Amed

Martyr Elişêr Konya, Martyr Zîn Amara Revenge Units claimed responsibility for a series of actions.

Martyr Elişêr Konya and Martyr Zîn Amara and Maxmur Martyrs Revenge Units claimed responsibility in a written statement for a series of actions they carried out against the Turkish police in Amed.

The Revenge Units said they hit Turkish police officers patrolling the Fiskaya neighborhood of Amed's Yenişehir district Wednesday, 1 April with handmade explosives.

"Immediately after the action, while the invading Turkish police fled the area in fear and panic, our unit returned to base safely", said the statement.

The Revenge Units added in their statement: "Our Maxmur Martyrs Revenge Units action was carried out with handmade explosives on Melik Ahmet Street in Sur, Amed at around 8 pm on Tuesday, April 14. The market sustained heavy damages. Immediately after the action, our unit reached its base safely."
