A road side bomb planted in Ipek yolu street in Yüksekova district of Hakkari was detonated at 16:20 on Sunday. It is reported that a lieutenant was injured in the blast who was taken to Van hospital by helicopter.

Police check point was hit in Yüksekova

Following the roadside attack of afternoon, HPG guerrillas attacked a police check point at the entrance of Yüksekova on Sunday at 23:30.

It is reported that while the guerrillas attacked the point with rocket launchers a short clash took place however, no information was gathered whether there are casualties.
