According to Turkish government's public survey in Kurdish cities Kurdish viewers favor RojTV while Turkey's official Kurdish channel TRT6 is nowhere in Top10 mos viewed tv channel list.

Turkish government conducted an unofficial survey among Kurds in North Kurdistan cities. The results showed that RojTV is the most viewed television channel in the region.

Government sponsored TRT6 couldn't find a place in Top 10 while Turkish television channels were listed after RojTV.

A source inside the AKP said Turkish Interior Minister presented the results of the survey to Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

After seeing the results Erdogan ordered his ministers to do everything within their power to raise the viewers rating of TRT6.
