Saleh Moslem detained in Prague on Turkey’s demand

TEV-DEM foreign relations official and former PYD leader Saleh Moslem has been taken into custody in Prague on Turkey’s demand.

TEV-DEM foreign relations official and former PYD leader Saleh Moslem was in Prague, capital city of Czech Republic, to attend a conference.  

Moslem was tracked by the Turkish intelligence in the hotel where he was staying, and his images were published by the Turkish media. After this development, Czechian police intensified security measures around the hotel.

Czechian police then came to the hotel and told Moslem that he was to be detained on Turkey’s complaint.

Kurdish officials have made attempts for Moslem’s release but have not received a response yet.
