The city of Serêkaniyê is once again under heavy weapons and tanks. Al-Qaeda-linked armed groups have attacked the city despite the recent heavy losses they suffered.

According to the information received the city has come under attack early this morning. The People's Defense Forces (YPG) has responded and are fending off the attack.
