Police forces conducted house raids in Konya city early Wednesday morning and detained 11 out of the 17 members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) that are sought with arrest warrants.

HDP Konya provincial co-chair Erol Şan is reported to be among those detained today.

Confidentiality order has been issued for the case file and reports suggest that the detainees will not be allowed to access their lawyers for 24 hours.
