All shops remains closed in Semdinli, a town of Hakkari province, in protest of killing of four Kurdish guerrillas by the Turkish military.
Only pharmacies and a bakery remained open in the town while hundreds of Turkish police deployed to Semdinli on the eve of funerals of four Kurdish guerrillas.
Tensions in Semdinli remained high after yesterdays clashes between demonstrators and the police.
Four Kurdish guerrillas were killed near Konur village, south of Semdinli on Saturday.
Bodies of Kurdish guerrillas are still kept in a hospital in Semdinli. Locals say they will be buried later today.
