Making a written statement regarding the invasion attacks of the Turkish state, The European Kurdish Women's Movement (TJK-E) said that "the fascist invading Turkish state has launched an all-out war against Kurdistan in order to strengthen its position in the Middle East and redefine its borders. The Turkish state, which takes the Kurdish genocide as its main goal, is carrying out all kinds of attacks on our country and our people with the mentality of destruction. This war is a war waged to destroy the existence of the Kurdish people. For the fascist AKP-MHP government, the best Kurd is a dead Kurd. And this fascist government wants to destroy the Kurds and the values they created in this century, as in the past centuries. The AKP-MHP government has tied its existence to this goal. The attacks that started on 17 April are also taking this plan to a new level.”
The statement continued: “The KDP took part in this dirty war and declared its hostility to Free Kurd and Kurdistan. History has proven time and again that the only thing that matters for the KDP is family and tribal interests. For this, the KDP betrayed its own people, took the dirtiest role in this war by giving all kinds of support and opportunities to the Turkish state, and presented all the opportunities and wealth of Kurdistan to the Turkish state with its own hands.”
The statement added: “We must make our actions radical and creative. We believe that there is nothing that Kurdish women, Kurdish youth and Kurdish people cannot achieve when they have one heart. That is why we say that today is the day to stand up for a Free country, a Free Kurdistan, to hold the enemy accountable for centuries. At the end of this war, as Leader Ocalan said, ‘Freedom will win’.”
The statement said: “We call on everyone to take part in these actions.
On this occasion, we invite everyone to participate in the marches and rallies that will be held in many centers of Europe, especially the march to be held in Frankfurt on Saturday, April 23, under the leadership of TEKO-JIN, the organized force of young women.”
