Speaking to AFP yesterday, the PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) spokesman Ahmed Deniz warned that the guerrilla actions will spread to all cities of Turkey if the government insists on its war approach.

Deniz said that “Turkey is driving us to war. They are not honest about the Kurdish question and they don’t want to tackle this problem in peaceful ways.”

According to AFP, Deniz added that so far “all the steps taken by the government have all been empty steps”. Deniz made a direct reference to the so called “initiative” proposal by the government.
