Four members of the Socialist Party of the Oppressed (ESP) were taken into custody in house raids carried out by police on Friday morning.
Kahraman Yılmaz, Ali Yıldız, Gökçe Otlu and Burcu Durak were taken to Ankara TEM Branch Directorate. The reason for the detention was not disclosed.
Kahraman Yılmaz has serious health problems and is scheduled to undergo brain surgery next Monday.
