Speaking to a crowd of three thousand Turkish prime minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan failed to give messages that will satisfy Kurds.
Erdogan delivered a speech in support of constitutional referendum on 12 September, to his party supporters in a gathering in Station Square. He did not even mention ceasefire declaration of Kurdistan Worker's Party (PKK) or PKK's demands to extend the ceasefire which will last on 20 September.
Erdogan labelled Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) "nationalist" and claimed that AKP is the only party that shows respect to all ethnic and religious groups in Turkey.
Erdogan's speech was no different from his usual referendum speeches which he delivered in other cities.
On Wednesday Erdogan said that he doesn't have a special message or something special to say in Diyarbakýr meeting.
The Kurdish side gave great importance to Erdogan's Diyarbakýr visit. Kurds were waiting for Erdogan's statements, which said to be an answer to PKK's ceasefire declaration on 13 August.
