Two leaders (emir) of the al-Qaeda affiliated gang groups have been killed and two others wounded in clashes with YPG (People's Defense Units) fighters in Girkê Legê region on Wednesday.

According to the reports by sources close to YPG, clashes in the region broke out as YPG fighters responded to the attacks of the armed groups that targeted the villages of Girhok and Yusufiye yesterday.

Gang groups have reportedly suffered heavy losses in clashes.

One of the two leaders killed is said to be a high ranking commander, Ebu Kheteb, and one of those wounded Emu Ammar Sehyoni.
