At least two members of the special operation team are reported wounded as a result of the clashes between Kurdish guerrillas and Turkish forces. The clashes occurred in Mazýdaðý/Mardin.

According to the information received from local sources, clashes erupted between Kurdish guerrillas and special operation teams which were brought in the area by helicopters from Mardin city centre.

Initial reports state that at least 2 special operation members were injured. Following the attack, the teams were taken away from the region by helicopters.
