According to Hrana News at least 60 women and 30 men who were detained at 3am on 12 June, got released at Enghelab Sq. after they were identified while tens of detainees around 3:30 am were taken to an unknown location by 3 vans where eyewitness news reported to Hrana reporters, they were most probably taken to Evin prison or Vozara Jail.
The agency states that at least 900 people were arrested in the demonstrations of June 12th by the Iranian Security Forces, Police and Intelligence Forces and taken to unknown locations.
Among the 900 detainees, 300 were women whose families are unaware of their whereabouts and 600 were men whose families were told to follow up on their cases the next day at the “Security Police”. The roads to Tehran’s Governor Headquarters were closed to all the detainees families from gathering. Some of these families gathered at the Police Station on Enqelab St. however, the police held back on their identifications.
Also, Ahmad Reza Radan, the successor of Commander Naja confessed about the detention of the protesting citizens and said: “A few who were arrested tonight as suspects by the Intelligent Agents will have their complete cases referred to the Judicial System.
