Victims of Efrîn explosion laid to rest

Four people killed in explosion in Efrîn on 22 August have been laid to rest in the Habo village of the Mabata town.

The funeral ceremony of the victims, Arife Eli (50), Muhammed Egid (25), Yasemin Egid (16) and Huda Egit (13), was joined by hundreds of people including representatives of Kurdish institutions in the region. All the victims were from the same family.

One person was also injured in the strong explosion in the city of Efrîn in the Aleppo province.

Speaking at the ceremony before the burial, Mabata People's Assembly member Sileman Arif and Syrian Kurds' National Council member Abdin Ebkir pointed out that the organized attacks aimed to make Kurds leave their territory and lands.
