Village guards ask not to take part in military operations

DIHA news agency reported on Tuesday that 120 village guards living in Bulakbasi Village in Uludere district of Þirnak, have appointed to the Uludere Centre Gendarmerie Station not to be assigned for the military operations. The guards have held a public procession on their way to the gendarmerie station.

The guards have declared that they are not going to accept any future assignment in operations around Besta, Cudi and Gabar located out of the border of their village otherwise they are going to lay down their arms. The station didn’t accept the guards’ demands and sent them to the battalion.
