While the military operation against the PKK guerrillas is continuing in Bilbes village of Beytüþþebap village guards withdrew from the operation.

It is reported that in the operation which has been continuing for 3 days hundreds of soldiers are taking part and the region is bombed with mortars shells by the soldiers.



Meanwhile, the village guards refused to take part in the operation on account of lack of life security.

In recent weeks several village guards in Van, Hakkari and Þirnak provinces refused to take part in military operations against the Kurdish guerrillas.
