HDP Deputy Group Chairpersons Pervin Buldan and Filiz Kerestecioğlu spoke to ANF and said that AKP brought chaos to Turkey after its failure to digest the results of June 7 elections. Woman HDP parliamentarians Buldan and Kerestecioğlu criticized Turkish warplanes’ massacre of civilians in Zergelê village, and said that AKP was openly committing crimes against humanity. Buldan noted that targeting civilians was a great shame for Turkey, and Kerestecioğlu said that AKP would never succeed with massacres like Zergelê.
'NOBODY IS SAFE ANYMORE'
Buldan recalled the series of attacks after Suruç, and stated that AKP has been targeting Kurdish Freedom Movement and other opposition forces with all its strength. Buldan criticized Turkish warplanes’ massacre of civilians in Zergelê village, and said that AKP was openly committing crimes against humanity. Buldan emphasized that nobody was safe anymore in this geography, and called upon women in Turkey, Kurdistan, and all over the world to say ‘stop’ to war and prosecution in Turkey.
'AKP COULD NOT DIGEST ELECTION RESULTS; WE WILL STRIVE FOR PEACE’
Kerestecioğlu stated AKP was massacring civilians on the one hand, and preventing the delivery of YPG fighters’ bodies to the families of the martyrs on the other hand. Kerestecioğlu criticized Turkish state’s prevention of YPG fighters’ bodies’ delivery, and said that AKP’s efforts to heighten the war aimed to reduce the prestige of HDP.
