Young people in Lausanne demand freedom for Abdullah Öcalan

Young people from TCŞ and TekoJIN demanded freedom for Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan in an action in Lausanne.

Members of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ) and Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer (TekoJIN) carried out an action in Lausanne. The action was part of the "Werin Cenga Azadiyê" operation and demanded freedom for Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan.

The young people who came together in Palais de Rumine called for enlarging the struggle and said: “Kurdistan was divided as the result of an agreement signed in this city 100 years ago. The Turkish state is a fascist state.”

The young activists drew attention to the isolation imposed on Abdullah Öcalan and underlined how the isolation prevented the solution to the Kurdish problem.
