Umed Xosnaw, leader of Kurdistan Youth Unity of Kurdistan Democracy Party (KDP), announced that if Turkey insists on cross-border operations, they will defend the border with human shields. Xosnaw also highlighted that a child has already been killed during Turkey’s cross-border operations.
Xosnaw said: “We are not going to remain silent as the cross-border bombardments of TSK have become an ongoing process. This current situation violates the Iraq Agreement. If the operations will not end, we will act as a human shield on the border to stop the bombs. Kurdish youth have a right to protect their own land."
