Syrian opposition discusses future of Syria in Ayn Isa

Syrian opposition is holding a Syrian Dialogue Workshop for the future of the country in Ayn Isa.

The second workshop where Syrian opposition will meet under the lead of the Syrian Democratic Council (Meclîsa Sûriya Demokratîk-MSD) to discuss the future of Syria started in Ayn Isa.

100 delegates from several opposition parties and groups from various regions in Syria attended the workshop which started with a minute’s silence after delegates introduced themselves.

100 Arab, Kurdish, Syriac, Assyrian, Armenian and Turkmen representatives of Syrian opposition from Northern and Eastern Syria, various regions in Syria like Tartus, Damascus, Latakia, Homs, Hama and Shehba and countries like Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Lebanon and Egypt.

Syrian Dialogue Workshop started with opening speeches from MSD Co-chairs Riyad Derar and Emine Omer.

The two-day workshop will host discussions titled The Humanitarian Situation in Syria, The Administrative Model in Syria, The Financial Situation in Syria, The New Syrian Constitution, Syrian Women and Commons Among Opposition Entities in Syria. The first edition of the workshop had been held on July 19.

MEETINGS WITH RUSSIA, IRAN AND TURKEY

Meanwhile, Russia, Iran and the Turkish state are meeting for Syria in Kazakhstan’s capital Astana today. The meeting to be held tomorrow in Astana will be primarily about Idlib. Reports say Russia will bring to the table Turkey’s previous commitment of “separating armed groups in Idlib”.
