Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) released a statement announcing the details of their latest actions against the Turkish army and allied mercenaries in North-East Syria.
The statement, according to which the HRE actions in Shera, Mare, al-Bab and Azaz left 12 invaders dead and 15 others injured, includes the following:
“The genocidal fascist Turkish state is escalating its attacks on our territories every day. These attacks, which aim for a genocide, leave our citizens martyred or injured, as in the case of the latest massacre in Til Rifat. As the Afrin Liberation Forces, we will not leave these attacks unanswered. In response to the Turkish military attacks, our units carried out retaliatory actions in the scope of legitimate self-defense from the 18th to 27th of August, the details of which are as follows:
Actions carried out on August 18 left two mercenaries dead and another two injured near the village of Meryemin in Shera district of Afrin, while three mercenaries were killed and two others injured in Mare.
One mercenary was killed in Mare on August 21.
HRE fighters targeted a military point of the invaders in Azaz on August 22, injuring three soldiers of the occupying Turkish army.
On August 24, two mercenaries were killed and four others injured in Azaz, while three soldiers of the occupying Turkish army were killed and another four wounded in al-Bab region.
One mercenary was killed in Mare on August 27.
As a result of the actions, three Turkish soldiers and nine mercenaries were killed, while seven soldiers and eight mercenaries were injured.
Our actions in response to the terrorist Turkish state will continue.”
