The Turkish state targeted the Ja’ada village, south of Kobani on Sunday. The shelling by heavy artillery resulted in the martyrdom of a 12-year-old girl, Nasîm Xelîl, and her 35-year-old mother, Sewsen Xelîl.
The Turkish state and its mercenaries have been shelling the countryside of Kobani for approximately two weeks. This has led to the martyrdom of several civilians and caused substantial damage to civilian property.
