Afrin Liberation Forces issued a written statement and announced that actions were carried out against the invading Turkish army and their allied gangs in the Basile village in Afrin’s Sherawa district and Meryemine in the Shera district. 1 Turkish soldier and 2 gang members were reported dead in the actions.
The statement said the forces continue to deliver intense blows against the invading Turkish army and their allied terrorist groups positioned in and around Afrin through assassinations, raids, ambushes and sabotages, and continued: “In this framework, 2 special actions were carried out against the invading Turkish soldiers and a terrorist group they control positioned in Afrin’s districts on March 4.”

“On March 4, our fighters carried out a special operation against a Turkish army position in the Basile village in Afrin’s Sherawa district. 1 soldier was killed in the action while 2 others were wounded. A military vehicle was also destroyed.”

“On March 4, our fighters carried out a special action against an Al Jabhat Al Shamiyya position in the Meryemine village in Afrin’s Shera district. 2 terrorists named Eymen Sobek and Ali Ebu Islam were killed in the action and 4 terrorists were wounded.”
