Hundreds of people in Serdem Camp marched in support of the HPG and YJA Star resistance in Heftanin against the attacks of the invading Turkish state.

During the march activists held photos of Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan and banners reading "Victory in Heftanin is the Victory of the Peoples" and "Bijî berxwedana Heftenînê".

The march turned into a rally in front of the Camp Council. Speaking at the rally, Serdem Camp Women's Council Member Leyla Ibrahim said that the Turkish state increased its attacks in order to realize the Ottoman dreams and added that the Kurdish national unity should be established to counter the attacks.

Ibrahim said: "As the people of Afrin, we call on the United Nations to stand against the attacks of the Turkish state."
