Ain Issa Assembly condemns Turkish attacks

The co-chairs of the Ain Issa District Communes Assembly called on the international community and Russia to put pressure on the Turkish state to stop its attacks.

The co-chairs of the Ain Issa District Communes Assembly issued a statement condemning the attacks of the invading Turkish state and its gangs on the district center and villages of Ain Issa and called on the international community and Russia to stop these attacks.

Reading the statement, Ain Issa Eastern Neighborhood Assembly Co-Chair Madhi El-Enzi condemned the killing of a child and the injuries of many civilians in a recent attack of the Turkish state.

The statement called on the international community and Russia to put pressure on the Turkish state to stop these attacks. It was also reminded that the aim of the Turkish state was to intimidate the people with these attacks and to displace them from their villages and cities.

After the invasion of Girê Spî and Serêkaniyê cities, the Turkish state and its gangs have been attacking the villages of Girê Spî and the town of Ain Issa since 9 October 2019.
