Democratic Union Party (PYD) Co-Presidency Council Member Aldar Xelil shared a post through his social media account on the first anniversary of the occupation of Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî by the invading Turkish state and its affiliated gangs.
Aldar Xelil, in his post on social media, said the following;
“A year has passed by since the Turkish state invaded Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî. For a year now, crimes have been committed against the people who have protected the world and humanity against ISIS and its collaborators and immigration has been imposed.
Failure to prevent the Turkish state is a shame for the world and humanity. Turkey is a threat to the entire world. If it was prevented in Syria, it would not interfere everywhere now.
We will not leave Afrin, Serekaniye and Girê Spî. Regions taken by the sacrifices, power and will of the martyrs will be saved through the insistence and will of our people, who do not recognize any option other than returning to the regions they were forced to leave. Our work and struggle will continue until we achieve all our goals.”
