Radi Mizel Osman (Îsa) and Yûsif Mihsin El Metras (Ninos), who were killed in the invasion attack carried out by the Turkish state against the villages of Qibur El Qeracne and Dirdara in Til Temir, were laid to rest in the Assyrian-Assyrian Martyrdom in Hesekê.
The Arab, Kurdish, Assyrian and Armenian people living in Hesekê took the bodies of the Assyrian Military Council fighters from the Martyrs' Families Institution and set off for the Assyrian-Syriac Martyrdom in a convoy.
The Martyrs were greeted with military honours by the Sotoro Forces.
Speaking at the ceremony, Syriac Unity Party Executive Committee member Efram Îshaq pointed out that the invading Turkish state aims to destroy the peoples living together under the roof of the Autonomous Administration with threats, and added: “The people of Northern and Eastern Syria are peace-loving people and they want to live freely. Our people want to strengthen the democratic system and all components have paid a price for this.”
'We will liberate other regions in Syria'
Syriac Martyr Families Institution co-chair Yaqub Hanûn pointed out that the invading Turkish state and its mercenaries target the people with land-based artillery in front of the eyes of the world and the international community, and criticized the silence of the world.
Syriac Military Council Spokesperson Matay Hena promised to avenge the martyrs and to liberate other parts of Syria occupied by the Turkish army.
