The Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration Executive Assembly held its first meeting in Ayn Isa with the agenda of working plans for the Autonomous Administration Committees.
Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration Executive Assembly Co-chairs Abdul Mihbas and Berivan Xalid, as well as co-chairs from 9 committees, were present in the meeting.
Attendees assessed the political and military developments in the region and the importance of the autonomous administration efforts in Northern and Eastern Syrian territory, then held discussions about the working mechanisms of the committees.
A regular meeting every Thursday was also decided in the meeting.
The attendees also assessed the significance of coordination among the 7 autonomous administrations, the civilian assembly and the committees.
There are 7 administrations within the Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration Executive Assembly, Cizire, Euphrates, Afrin autonomous administrations and Tabqa, Raqqa, Deir Ez-Zor and Manbij civilian administrations.
The committees under the Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration Executive Assembly are: Economy and Agriculture Committee, Education Committee, Interior Affairs Committee, Social Works Committee, Local Administrations Committee, Finance Committee, Culture and Arts Committee, Health and Ecology Committee and the Women’s Committee.
The committees will officially start working on November 1, as announced by the end of the meeting.
