The Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria issued a decision to lift the ban imposed on gatherings as part of preventive measures to contain the spread of the coronavirus.

The text of the Autonomous Administration decision reads as follows:

Based on the proposal submitted by the Health Commission for North and East Syria, and based on the requirements of the public interest, the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria decides the following:

1- It is permitted to open (wedding halls - mourning tents - places of worship - all meetings), taking into consideration all the preventive health rules and procedures for social distancing in all places.

2- This decision shall be delivered to whoever is required to implement it.
