Autonomous Administration opens laboratory for analysis of food and beverage products

The Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria opened its first laboratory for the analysis of food and beverage products.

The Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration opened a laboratory in Hesekê for the analysis of food and beverage products. Dozens of citizens and specialized people from Hesekê, as well as an Autonomous Administration delegation and the co-chair of the Agriculture and Irrigation Committee Leyla Saroxan attended the opening ceremony.

The Autonomous Administration will carry out analysis in order to improve the quality of food and beverage products through the laboratory under the supervision of the Agriculture and Irrigation Committee. This is the first laboratory to be established in Northern and Eastern Syria, and work has been carried out for its establishment for 4 years.

The laboratory consists of two sections, one for food and the other for water analysis.

The Autonomous Administration is preparing to open a laboratory for DNA analysis as well as veterinary and human drugs.

Agriculture and Irrigation Committee co-chair Leyla Saroxan officially opened the laboratory.
