According to the statement by the Northern and Eastern Syria Autonomous Administration, a delegation from Belgium met with its Executive Assembly Presidency Committee.
The Belgian municipal delegation, consisting of politicians and journalists, visited the water stations in Hesekê and the Wasûkanî and Serêkaniyê camps.
During the meeting, the situation of the Autonomous Administration in terms of economy and services and the obstacles in the region were discussed.
In addition, issues such as the continuous attacks by the Turkish state on the region, targeting its infrastructure and service institutions, and cutting off the water share of the Euphrates were discussed.
The delegation thanked the Autonomous Administration and said that they would work to strengthen the relations between Belgian municipalities and Rojava.
