"Civilians’ houses turned into “sharia” institutes in Serekaniye"

Turkish organizations seize civilian houses in Ras Al-Ain to open “sharia” institutes, SOHR reports.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reports that that Turkish forces seized civilian houses in Serekaniye (Ras Al-Ain) city in order to open Koranic institutes and “sharia” schools in “Peace Spring” areas, with support of Turkish organizations and foundations.

According to SOHR sources, the Turkish forces have seized eight houses belonging to displaced people, four of which are still closed, while the four others have been turned into sharia institutes supported by the Turkish “Humanitarian Relief Foundation” (IHH).

These Turkish organizations and foundations receive children under the age of 14, both males and females, where boys’ classes are separated from girls’ ones, SOHR said.

SOHR noted that the sharia institutes are administrated and supervised by Turkish teachers, while nearly 140 teachers work in these institutes.
