Thousands joined the funeral procession for Ayşe Deniz Karacagil (Destan Temmuz), Mehmûd Ibrahîm (Hozan), Mihemed Can (Mîxalo Çekdar), Raman Dalîmîl (Agir Urmiye) and Ehmed Hacî’nin (Delîl Kobanê) from Martyr Zozan Hospital to Martyr Dicle Cemetery of Martyrs in Kobanê Canton of Rojava.
Speaking after the military ceremony in the cemetery, YPJ commander Dilbirîn Kobanê offered condolences to the families of martyrs who she said brightened the path of peoples.
MLKP commander Şengül Dozan stressed that Martyr Destan and her comrades fell fighting until the last drop of blood.
Speaking on behalf of Democratic Autonomous Administration, Dîlber Yûsif offered condolences to the families of martyrs and said Rojava Revolution was a Women's Revolution.
Martyr Destan's mother Nuray Erçağan, who went to Kobanê from Turkey to join the funeral, emphasised that mothers should stand with the struggle of their children for the achievement of fraternity of peoples.
Following speeches, the five martyrs were laid to rest.
