Former Euphrates Shield group joined SDF
A group which was operating under Turkish supported Euphrates Shield group joined the ranks of Syrian Democratic Forces.

Liwa Al Shimal, fighters from Deir Ez Zor, joined the ranks of SDF after leaving Turkish supported Euphrates Shield. Liwa Al Shimal immediately deployed to Raqqa to fight against ISIS gangs.
Groups commander Mihemed Al Musa said they joined SDF to participate in the fight against ISIS in Raqqa. Al Musa said Turkey promised them to support the fight to retake Deir Ez Zor but didn’t keep its promises.
Al Musa said they want everybody to know that they left Euphrates Shield and joined SDF.
The group is taking an active part in operations against ISIS in Raqqa.
