Girkê Legê Health Center provides free health services

The 15 doctors and nurses working in the Health Center continue to provide health services despite the lockdown, observing all measures dictated by the Autonomous Administration.

Girkê Legê Health Center, established by the Cizire District Health Committee, provides free health services to the residents of the district and villages. 

Girkê Legê Health Center also provides child vaccinations in the district center and villages as well as free medicines.

In the health center there is a pharmacy as well as polyclinics ready to deal with internal diseases, gynecological issues, pediatric issues, skin diseases and emergencies.

The Girkê Legê Health Center changed its working system following the coronavirus pandemic. The first measure taken was to prevent the formation of crowds in the center.

Health Center employees also continued their routine child vaccinations without interruption included during lockdown. Doctor Mîdya Berekat told ANHA that a free health service helps to reduce the costs for the residents of the region.
