HRE: 3 jihadists killed, 4 others injured

HRE continue inflicting blows on the Turkish army and allied mercenaries in occupied areas in North-East Syria.

Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) released a statement announcing the details of their latest operations against occupation forces in northeastern Syria.

The HRE statement includes the following on their operations in Sheikh Isa, Azaz and Afrin territories:

“On the 4th of March;

Turkish-backed jihadists attempted to attack the town of Sheikh Isa. As a result of the retaliation by our forces, clashes broke out and jihadists retreated. The number of killed and injured jihadists has not been clarified.

On the 5th of March;

In Azaz, our forces carried out a special operation against a base of the invading Turkish army. As a result of the operation a tank was destroyed. The number of killed and injured jihadists from the operation has not been clarified.

On the 6th of March;

- In Afrin, our forces carried out a sabotage operation against Turkish-backed jihadists. As a result of the operation 2 jihadists were injured.

- In Azaz 2 vehicles of the jihadists were burnt.

On the 7th of March;

- Our forces carried out an operation against Turkish-backed jihadists in Birj Heyder village of the Sherawa district. As a result of the operation 2 jihadists were killed and 1 jihadist was injured. A vehicle was destroyed.

- On the Bab front line our forces carried out 2 sniper operations in Bab region. As a result of these operations 1 jihadist was killed and 1 jihadist was injured. 

As far as can be clarified in the operations performed in 4 days, a total of 3 jihadists were killed and 4 jihadists were injured.

The occupation forces have lately been carrying out attacks with howitzers and mortars against the villages of the Shera and Sherawa districts and the villages of the Shahbah region.”
