The funeral of Afrin Liberation Forces (HRE) fighter Ehmed Mihemed (Cesur Efrîn), who fell a martyr while on duty on 4 September, was held in the Martyrdom of the Epochal Resistance.

The crowd gathered in front of Avrîn Hospital and brought the coffin to the cemetery in Ehres district.

Afrin Martyr Families Council Member Xedice Ibo said: "The only way to defeat the invaders and liberate our lands is the resistance of the people of Afrin and Shehba canton."

Xedice Ibo said: "Guerrilla resistance against the invading Turkish army is to protect the lands of Kurdistan from occupation. Because the aim of the Turkish army is to occupy the Medya Defense Areas and then Northern and Eastern Syria. The plans of the Turkish invasion are broad and we stand by the guerrillas.”

Speaking on behalf of the Shehba Canton Council Administration, Ehmed Selame said: "Our resistance will continue and our struggle will grow in Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Gire Spi. We promise to follow the path of the martyrs."

Afterwards, the martyr's certificate of martyrdom was read by Ruken Ehmed, a member of the Afrin Democratic Society Education Committee (KPC-D), and handed over to the family of the martyr.
