Hundreds came from Europe to join the Self Defense Forces
In the Raco region of the Efrîn canton, hundreds of people including young people returning from Europe joined the Self Defense Forces.
Young people who have joined the Self Defense Forces will participate in a 45-day long ideological and military training.
Most of the young people in training are those returning from Europe and Turkey. The young people who came from abroad and joined the Self Defense Forces say they are fulfilling their duty and all those abroad should return and fulfill their duty.
Fewaz Hafiz, who is from the Xazi village in the Meydano district in Raco, returned from Denmark and joined the Self Defence Forces. Hafiz said the young people abroad should return and fulfill their duty of defense.
Celal Osman from the Miska village said he returned from Turkey after 4 years and joined the Self Defense Forces to fulfill his duty.
A young man named Welat Mistefa said he returned from Turkey after over 1.5 years to join the Self Defense Forces.
